The Hollywood 48-Hour Miracle Diet™: Day Two

I waited an extra day to post my results:
I gained four pounds.

  1. Ouch...like absolutely unfortunate. Though it is kinda the typical response to fasting... =( *forgoes nerdy biological description of diet/metabolism*

  3. I presume you weighed yourself at the same time both days? Before/after the same meal?

  4. Don't be ridiculous Boy, you make it sound like I know what I'm doing.

I'm not surprised it didn't work, especially considering I find fasting extremely difficult, so I did have a little bit of food, and a margarita or two. But it was an experiment, and I have my results, and hopefully anyone (if anyone does) that reads this will see that these "miracle" diets are bullshit and that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

  5. If you didn't weigh yourself at the same time, the four extra pounds could just be from what you just ate, if for example you weighed yourself in the morning the first time, and then you weighed yourself after dinner the second, the results would vary quite a bit.

The clue that it didn't work was totally in the title, "miracle", yeeeeea.

  6. Like I said, I knew it was too good to be true.

Anyway, on this damn exercise program Eric's got me on, I'm constantly weighing myself at least three or four times a day. I don't know exactly when I weighed myself each time, but I'm bound to have done at similar times both days.
